CAMRA

CAMRA ‘The Campaign for Real Ale’ is an independent, voluntary, consumer organisation which campaigns for greater appreciation of traditional beers, ciders and perries as part of national heritage and culture. CAMRA is a decentralised organisation, financed through membership subscriptions and most of its work is done by volunteers at local level. CAMRA produces a free monthly newspaper "What's Brewing" which it sends to all members.

It takes all sorts to campaign for real ale. In January 2005 we already had over 74,000 members – but we still need your help. Our members are of all ages and interests who, above all, enjoy celebrating their favourite product –real ale.
